Do you live east of Southampton and north of Portsmouth? If so, you may like to know that Chris Bailey Orthopaedics is now available in your area.
This month Mr Bailey launched a new knee clinic at HealthSpace. It’s a highly regarded, multidisciplinary centre in Bishop’s Waltham and offers quite a range of health and wellbeing services, including sports therapy, physio and counselling. The response so far has been fantastic, so we’re now seeing patients there on a regular basis.
HealthSpace brings our locations to three, since we also have clinics in Winchester and Chandler’s Ford. Wherever you’re based, our aim is to make it quick and easy to get you an appointment. We can usually see you within a week, at a time and place that suits you best.

How do I book?
It’s very simple. You can either pop your details into our enquiry form and we’ll call you back. Or you can ring us direct on the numbers above: Cheryl and Lyn, Mr Bailey’s assistants, will take your details and find a time and date that works for you. (If you prefer email, just send a message to lyn.green@nuffieldhealth.com or cheryl.rumsey@bmichoice.co.uk.)
What else do I need to know?
When the team calls, they’ll run through some quick questions with you. We’ll ask about your knee problem and your history (for example: when did the issues begin? have you had any treatment to date?, and so on). If you already have x-ray or MRI scans, we’ll take some details so we can get those images uploaded to our system – ideally, in time for your appointment.
We’ll then find your best clinic time and place, and follow up with a letter or email to confirm your booking. (Note that you can now also book a consultation by video or phone: please click here for all the details.)
Owing to the situation with COVID-19, the arrangements for physical appointments are slightly different at the moment. If you’re visiting Sarum Road, you’ll receive a COVID assessment call from an outpatient nurse the day before your appointment. If you’re coming to the Nuffield Wessex, your assessment will take place prior to your consultation. Wherever your appointment is taking place, we’ll make sure you have all the details ahead of time – but you can find more information here (for Nuffield Wessex), here (for Sarum Road) and here (for HealthSpace).
